氮化硅结合碳化硅砖是用SiC和Si粉为原料，经氮化烧成的耐火制品。其特点是以Si3N4为结合相。Si3N4以针状或纤维状结晶存在于SiC晶粒之间，是一种重要的新型耐火材料。利用反应烧结原理，以氮化反应使含硅粉的SiC坯体烧结，烧成过程在通入氮气、容易控制的密闭炉内完成。炉内温度、压力、气氛均要严格控制。
氮化硅结合碳化硅砖具有良好的耐碱侵蚀性、抗熔融冰晶石润湿性、抗氧化性、耐磨性、高导热性、抗热震性和极低的电导率。
氮化硅结合碳化硅砖主要用做高炉下部炉身内衬、铝还原电解槽内衬、陶瓷窑具，有节能、提高寿命、不污染环境等优点。
